Free Legal Database "LexInfoSys"
The gtz project office "Law Reform in Transition States" at the University of Bremen offers a free legal database "LexInfoSys". This database consists of more than 7500 legal acts (July 2004) of the following countries:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan

Beginning from August 2004, our database will not be renewed any more. Our project capacities have become insufficient for a regular update of the data base. Therefore we have decided to stop the updating and continue to offer the database for research on the legislation until 2003/2004.
We cannot guarantee that the database is complete or that the legal texts correspond to the official documents. The collection of this legal data base consists of texts send from local coordinators who worked on behalf of the gtz project “Law reforms in transition states”.
The database offers codes, laws, other legal acts and some court decisions. The main focus is on private and economic law. Recently, legal texts in the field of administrative and criminal law have also been added.
The legal acts are published in Russian or in the language of the respective country. Some texts are also available in German or in English.
Short instruction
How to use the legal database "LexInfoSys"
Search for legal acts by using the English or the Russian interface. The results will be shown either in English or in Russian and in chronological order.
1. Choose a country and all available legal acts of this country will be shown.
2. Choose one of the provided 21 categories, and your search will be confined to a certain field of law.
3. In addition to this, you may choose the year and the type of the legal act.
4. In order to undo your choice, click the same button once again.
Законодательный банк данных „Lexinfosys“
Оффис проекта ГТЦ «Реформа права в государствах с переходной экономикой» при Бременском Университете предлагает к бесплатному пользованию банк данных, содержащий более 7500 законодательных текстов.
Странами-партнерами, предлагающими законодательные тексты, являются:
Азербайджан, Армения, Грузия, Казахстан, Кыргыстан,
Молдова, Монголия, Таджикистан, Туркменистан, Узбекистан.
С начала августа 2004 года наш банк данных более не возобновляется. Имеющиеся в наличие ресурсы нашего проекта не дают возможности регулярно обновлять его. По этой причине мы решили приостановить работу по постоянной актуализации данных и предлагаем для пользования законодательные тексты по состоянию до 2003/2004 гг.
Основной тематический упор при составлении базы данных делается на частное и экономическое право, хотя в последнее время в нее были введены и законодательные акты из административного и уголовного права. Тексты публикуются в основном на русском языке или языке страны, некоторые тексты предлагаются также и на английском или немецком языках.

Правила пользования
Как воспользоваться законодательным банком данных «Lexinfosys»
Проведите поиск законодательных актов употребляя английский или руский интерфейс. Результаты поиска выдаются на английском или руском языках в хронологическом порядке.
1. Выберите страну и все имеющийся законодательные акты выбранной страны будут показаны.
2. Выберите одну из предусмотренных 21 категорий и Ваш поиск ограничится на определённой области права.
3. Вы можете также выбрать год и вид законодательного акта.
4. Для отмены Вашего выбора нажмите ту же самую кнопку ещё раз.

Download special fonts
Mainly, the legal database "LexInfoSys" provides for texts in Russian or in the language of the respective country. In order to be able to display texts in Armenian, Georgian or Romanian language, you may need to install special fonts (for PC-users: into WINDOWS/FONTS).
